All the students of class 10th & 12th were waiting for the latest updates on cbse board exams 2021. But recently, it has been announced by cbse that board exams for class 10 are cancelled and class 12 cbse exams are postponed. That's very big news for cbse class 10th & 12th students.
CBSE Board Exams 2021 Latest Updates:-
Today, on 14th April 2021, our honourable Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and our Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' discussed cbse board exams 2021. As the second wave of COVID-19 had been started in mid-February. Record cases are reported every day. Therefore there was a danger of the spread of this virus among students during cbse board exams 2021. So, the meeting was started at 12;00 pm and after discussing for about 2 hours, it was decided to cancel board exams for class 10 and to postpone class 12 cbse exams.
Many students were requesting the government to cancel cbse board exams 2021 for many days. Not only students but their parents were also in support of cancelling cbse board exams 2021 as there was a risk to their child's health. Many youtube teachers also come in support of the government to cancel cbse board exams 2021.
There was a huge risk of student's health in giving cbse board exams 2021. But now, all the parents, students and teachers are relaxed after hearing the news that board exams for class 10 are cancelled and class 12 cbse exams are postponed.
Board Exams for Class 10 2021 Cancelled:-
CBSE has announced that board exams for class 10 2021are cancelled. There will be no board exams for class 10 students of the academic session. It has been officially announced by CBSE that board exams for class 10 2021 have been cancelled.
Now the question arises that how the marks will be calculated. The marks for CBSE class 10 result 2020-21 will be calculated on the basis of an 'objective criterion' which will be developed by the board. But if a student does not satisfy with his result made by CBSE on the basis of 'objective criterion', then that student can give the exams when the spread of the COVID pandemic is under control.
Q. What is Objective Criterion?
A. In his interview with the news agency INA, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' indicated that this objective criterion would likely be 'internal assessment'. It means that now your result will depend on your schools.
Many cbse class 10 students were urging to the government for many days to cancel board exams for class 10 2021. According to reports, children are vulnerable to coronavirus. Therefore, everyone was scared after the arrival of the second wave of COVID-19.
Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal & Rahul Gandhi also urged the government a few days ago to cancel cbse board exams 2021 as students can be the super spreaders of coronavirus.
Therefore, after a lot of urges and requests by students, parents, politicians and many others, the government decided to cancel board exams for class 10 and to postpone class 12 cbse exams.
Class 12 CBSE Exams 2021 Postponed:-
CBSE has cancelled only board exams for class 10 2021. Class 12 cbse board exams 2021 have not been cancelled. Class 12 cbse board exams 2021 are postponed till the next update.
The ministry will review the COVID situation on 1st June 2021 to decide a new time table for class 12 cbse exams.
A notice will be given to cbse class 12 students before 15 days to the start of the board exams so that there is no confusion to the students. Therefore the exams will not be conducted before 15th June 2021.
For class 12 students, the situation has become more confused as admission to colleges outside India will depend on their result.
CBSE offline board exams were scheduled to be started from the 1st week of May. But due to the second wave of coronavirus, cbse decided to postpone class 12 cbse exams to reduce the spread of coronavirus among students.
